T|X hotsync error

Hi guys. Need ur advice and help. I realise each time if my internet connection is on, and I do the hotsync, it will hang/crash (needing a soft reset) whenever the skyscape's smartsync in progress. It will say "Runtime error". If I do the hotsync offline, then nothing will happen. Why is this? ANyone having same problem with T|X? Thanks.
