hi all.
my datebk5+ and the tx auto-lock function causes my tx to crash all the time.
until the patch is out either from pimlico or palm, i'm considering to get agendus pro or any other pim which do not have any problem with the tx (problem only occurs when the auto-lock funct of the tx is activated).
can you guys help me with some recommendation or a comparison of advantage/disadvantage of datebk5+ and agendus or other pim - especially to those who have both or have converted from one to another.
tq.

If you are a power user of datebk5+, then you will definitely feel 'limited' to a certain extent because agendus sacrifices flexibility to gain user friendliness. Databk5+ ability to be customized is really mind boggling.
But by switching to agendus, you gain other features such as very tight contacts/emails/calendar integration. Much more advanced journaling and logging of contacts to events. With version 10, you get to associate with trips as well. Not to mention the other plusses such as weather updates.

And if you are a Contact management type of person, you'll realise that Agendus is far more powerful in this aspect. Imgaine linking Contacts with Claendar Events, Tasks, Other contacts, Memo. I prefer the Agendus interface which is neater and less cluttered than DatebkV

I was a Datebk user before. Now using Agendus. So far I feel its OK even for the event oriented data.

Actually, why not just download and try it for a month? It's shareware after all. You can see that there are quite a few DateBk users here that have switched to Agendus (me included) and survived One thing I really like about Agendus: It allows the scheduling of follow ups. Lets say I sent an email or made a call to someone asking about something. How do I know they'll get back to me? People can be so unreliable and forgetful nowadays (especially those without PDAs ). I just need to click and hold on the task/call and schedule a follow up (max time I can wait for person A to get back to me) before I check those off as 'done'. There's wasn't an easy way to do this in DateBk5.

On the Treo is scroll to thge appointment, hit the Dpad-Right and select Schedule Followup. Very fast. The nice thing about Schedule dollowup is that it can be another meeting, call or task; so not just meetings. Agendus templates are also very useful DatebkV had the advantage of floating todos but now that Agendus has the roll-over function its even here.

Agendus Pro is more "colourful" as a whole compared to DateBk5... more eye appealing!
