Hi. This has happened a few times. My TX won't start up in the morning. Had to press the reset button and then the TX will boot up with about less than 20% battery. Noticed at a few times that the Wi-fi icon was activated & this morning the Bluetooth icon was active. And i don't remember if i used Wi-fi or Bluetooth the night before, unless i was sleep-browsing or sleep-bluetoothing.
Anyone else have experienced this?
TQ.

O-O! Now i'm pretty sure something is wrong. Was sure i didn't use wi-fi or bluetooth last night. woke up this morning again - felt the TX was warm, and after pressing the on button - nothing happens. it crashed again overnight. reset it - got it switched on, battery level 50%. it was 100% before i slept last night. and the wi-fi & bluetooth icon was not active - so this time, it was not caused by wi-fi or bluetooth.
so now - suspecting the auto lock function in pref - security. i set it to run after 90 minutes. someone mentioned about a bug in it. will try it tonight without the auto lock.

nothing of such happens to my TX so far (after 2 weeks' usage). the only annoying thing I notice was when you plug in the charger, TX comes alive. I had set TX to stay on when it is charging (ie. no auto off) initally so to facilitate loading applications to it. Unfortunately have forgotten to reset this to auto off, so while TX was tucked inside the leather casing, and the charger plugs in, it came alive without being notice (because darn Palm didn't put a LED indicator on it!! ) So this morning it was RED HOT. Luckily nothing got roasted. Hope this is a 'bad' lesson for other TX users not to repeat.

you can switch off while charging too. don't think it'll auto switch on. if you charge it while it's switched off. it'll remain on if you charge it while it's on. confusing??? hehe...
anyway on my issues - some results, but not concluded yet:
the T|X was good this morning. until now at 2200 hrs, with very little usage - battery still remained 100%.
1. had autolock to never & keylock to manual. 2. beam receive was off (it was on the last few days). 3.wi-fi & bluetooth icons remained inactive. 4. wi-fi repeater was switched off too (accidently) - somebody in a diff forum mentioned about the T|X don't actually stop searching for wi-fi signal even though we manually deactivate it. 5. also had a late night read up on datebk5, there were some issues on datebk5 with T5 handling alarms - so i unchecked that - now calendar is handling alarms. set a wake up alarm at 0700 hrs.
so - a few possibilities here:
1. the auto-lock 2. beam receive 3. wi-fi or bluetooth status in the T|X 4. wi-fi scanning even though we manually deactivate it in the T|X 5. my datebk5 alarm
will 're-do' all the items above 1 at a time to find the culprit.
tq.

TX stayed good. had 2 days on 100% battery status.
to start my exp - earlier this afternoon i decided to config the auto lock to auto lock device if inactive for 2 hours.
left the TX at home on the desk for about 4 hours. picked it up - felt a familiar warmth on the unit - and it won't start.
should i continue with the exp or is it safe to conclude that this TX has a bug with its auto lock?
after soft reset - battery was at 77%. don't think 77% is too week for a start up.
can anyone else confirm this? just my unit or someone else's too.
