- Where to get the cheapest but acceptable quality car charger for M28? How much is it? I saw average price at the shops is around RM50....but i believe it is too much compared to other car charger

- Poor network reception compared to Nokia phones......

- Everytime i turn off the display, my instant messenger also goes offline. How to keep IM online like those Symbian phones?

- Anyway, my M28 started restarting by itself since this morning although i made no new installation or didnt change any thing on the setting. Anyway, how to get the firmware version? Which one?

My M28 is running ok this few days Grin

Xplore phones are not the most powerful in our market.......especially my M28...

I also own (and ever use) O2 XDAs, Nokia Series 90, Symbian UIQ, Nokia Series 60......but I still found out there are reasons why I keep M28 in my hand. Its menu is very user friendly, navigating between menus is very fast and smooth, and this phone also very very fast.....i love it...it is practical to me

Hi guys,

Has anyone tried this?

http://frankk.no-ip.com/

Doom for palm and this one has been adapted for low res screen like the M28! I still haven't gotten my xplore phone yet, so, can't test it yet. There is also Quake for palm! Dunno if it will run on xplore phones or not.

Doom runs on the M28! Smiley

You will need :
UDMH Hack from : http://palmpowerups.com/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=2
ZDoomZ program from : http://www.metaviewsoft.de/en/Software/PalmOS/Freeware/ZDoomZ/index.html
Copy of the original or shareware WAD files of Doom

Installation :
first install UDMH, even if you don't want to run Doom, still install it, makes your M28 way more stable.

Next download ZDoomZ, install the prc file to your handheld memory, somehow in memory card, it doesn't run don't know why, and the .zdk file to your memory card in the directory : /Palm/Programs/ZDoomZ, then use a card reader and copy your Doom WAD file to the card in the following directory : /Palm/Programs/ZDoomZ

Before running, start UDMH first, then run ZDoomZ... have fun. I've beaten episode 1 on default difficulty already.. on the M28 Cheesy
