Gmail and Streamyx Mail on T|X Versamail via Maxis GPRS

Hello,

I have unsuccesfully download mail from streamyx and but successful gmail on my friend's new T|X. However, I could not send email through both accounts.  The error message were:

for streamyx : could not locate pop.streamyx.com, please check DNS or IP setting
for gmail: smtp is not responding. downloading email is OK.

Is there anything wrong that I do?

streamyx : looks as though DNS problem............not sure why
make sure username looks like this user@streamyx.com

manage to send now via maxis smtp. thanks Doc Azmi for the pointer. however, still unable to receive mail from pop.streamyx.com :-(

username betulke set as i.e. palmx@streamyx.com, not just "palmx".

i have set it using the full username. mesti betul punya. since i can download mail using the same setting on my 9500.
