Zoo Negara and Fotopages Malaysia will be holding a Digital Photo Contest this Auguat 2006. This competition is open to public. Yours truly here, being part of the organizing team, hereby extends the invitation to the palmx community to enter this contest. There are a few shuttebugs here ... I know.

Details of the competition
Contest Date : 6th August 2006
How to participate
1. Participants are required to register at the registration booth at Zoo Negara ticketing area for the contest. Registration counter will be open until 3rd August 2006 from 9 am to 5 pm.
2. Participants are required to pay an participating fee of RM 45 inclusive of entrance fee to Zoo Negara.
3. Images must be taken within the Zoo Negara compound on contest day, 6 August 2006.
4. Participants are required to print all entries at any BINTANG MAJU outlet. Discounts vouchers for enlargement will be provided by Bintang Maju for each participants.
Rules & Regulations
1. The contest is open to all residents of Malaysia.
2. Only entries by registered participants on contest day will be accepted.
3. The 3 best images (8R) should be submitted latest by 20th August 2006 at any Bintang Maju outlets.
4. Photos submitted are non-returnable.
5. If cruel or unethical practices are suspected, the photo will be disqualified.
6. Judges’ decision is final.
7. Photo will be judged based on theme, creativity, composition and content.
8. Images must not have been digitally altered in any way other than necessary burning, dodging and cropping.
9. All winners will get honorable certificate issued by Zoo Negara.
10. The winners will be announced on 31st August 2006 and their winning photos will be exhibited at Zoo Negara for two (2) weeks starting 31 August 2006.
11. All winners are required to submit file (inclusive EXIF data) of the winning entries.
